This episode is a shortened version of my story that covers the significant aspects that took place between my near death experience in 2010 that have led me to where I am today.
I go through my ruptured appendix story, how I healed through that, leaving the country to live and study with a Peruvian Ayahuasca Shaman for 5 months, struggling to re-integrate to my life back in Canada to now being right in my element and fully aligning my work, play, and skills to serve the world and cultivate wellness.
It's been a crazy ride and I now desire to inspire and educate whoever wants to listen.
To share this message of empowerment, wellness and tribe and to build a better way forward so that the next generations can adapt and thrive in what is a fascinating and crazy time to be alive.

As I describe in the intro for this episode, meeting the Fortin's was a perfect synchronicity and one of the biggest gifts I received at the 2017 Bulletproof Biohacking conference. They are genuine, generous, interesting, and dedicated people when it comes to healthy living and child rearing. Where Lisa is a top notch doctor who runs the medical side of things, Lance is a DIY dad extraordinaire who homeschools their 4 little superheroes. Last week I had the pleasure of stepping into the Jal Gua cafe to enjoy a delicious meal of Kuan and sit down with the man behind it all for a podcast. I first met Emmanuel a year so ago when I was working up at Wholefoods in Yorkville. I remember his enthusiasm and boldness when approaching people in the store to talk about his product and so when I went over and found out that he is also a recording artist and former child soldier I knew that he had a story to tell.
